Upgrade of Dynamics Nav to Business Central & development of e-Commerce add-on for Business Central for BAUFOX LTD

Antyxsoft successfully completed the project of upgrading Dynamics NAV to Business Central and developing e-Commerce add-on for Business Central for BAUFOX LTD. Baufox Ltd, a leader in building materials market in Greece, Cyprus and Balkans decided to modernize its information systems and integrate all systems in one platform, aiming at aligning with new strategical and economic objectives and improving user experience.

During the first phase of the project, Antyxsoft upgraded Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 to Business Central. The upgrade included upgrade of the application code (C/AL) and upgrade of the data (single-tenant deployment) along with a large number of customizations, a part of which were moved to extensions. The steps taken by the specialists of Antyxsoft team included transformation of classic Dynamics NAV reports to RDLC/AL reports, functional testing, code optimization/clearance and full data migration process. Upon successful completion of this phase, which was delivered in the cloud, Baufox gained real-time and accurate information throughout the whole organization, full visibility and increased productivity.

During the second phase of the project, Antyxsoft developed an all-in-one cloud e-Commerce solution that provided to Baufox 100% real-time integration with Business Central, enabling it to enjoy accurate order, inventory and price management. With Antyxsoft’s e-Commerce add-on, real time inventory is displayed on e-Commerce webstore, orders, invoices, credit memo and payment history are displayed online and data are maintained in Business Central and shared across multiple platforms. Antyxsoft’s e-Commerce solution includes: (i) B2B customer portal, (ii) B2C customer portal, (iii) payment portal and (iv) mobile commerce.

By flexibly integrating its Business Central with its e-Commerce solution, Baufox Ltd gained operational efficiency and sustained its performance, delivering a consistent shopping experience across different channels and different devices.
